  • Casie Ehrig, M.Ed., LPC, RPT

    Casie Ehrig is the founder of Vine & Bloom Counseling, where she brings her extensive qualifications and heartfelt passion to the forefront of her practice. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Casie is committed to facilitating the personal growth and emotional well-being of her clients. She specializes in working with couples, women, adolescents, and children, guiding them through a range of issues including depression, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, divorce, co-parenting, and the dynamics of blended families.

    With a profound belief in the transformative power of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a compassionate client/therapist relationship, and faith-based support, Casie adeptly assists her clients in reshaping their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors towards a more positive outlook and healthier coping mechanisms. She has a passion for offering her clients support and guidance rooted in biblical wisdom and compassion. Further enriching her expertise, Casie is also a Registered Play Therapist incorporating Play Therapy into her practice.

    Casie's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies obtained in 2005, alongside a Master of Education in Counseling from The University of Houston-Victoria, awarded in 2013. Prior to her counseling career, she dedicated seven years to the education sector as a Texas Certified Teacher, in addition to being a Texas Certified School Counselor. She has also served a district-wide Mental Health Counselor in the public school setting. Her personal journey includes a decade-long marriage and navigating the intricacies of a blended family with six children. This personal experience adds a layer of depth and empathy to her professional endeavors.

    Before establishing Vine & Bloom Counseling, Casie contributed her skills as a family therapist for a non-profit ministry and a group private practice office. Her roles in these positions underscored her versatility and commitment to supporting family dynamics and individual growth.

    Casie offers a comprehensive suite of services including individual therapy utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Play Therapy for children, and couples therapy. She is dedicated to accommodating her clients' needs by offering both in-office and online counseling sessions.

  • Allison Krauser, M.Ed., LPC Associate

    Supervised by Lisa Latcham, M.Ed., LPC-S, RPT-S, Allison Krauser is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University and a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from Lamar University.

    Allison is available to counsel children, adolescents, women, and couples. Her desire is to assist all her clients in living healed and whole lives. Allison has a heart for working with children and is currently working towards becoming a registered play therapist. She incorporates elements of play therapy into sessions with children to foster communication and healing.

    Allison has a passion for helping guide her clients to recognize God’s plan and purpose for their lives and is eager to assist others in navigating through difficult life struggles and personal problems.

    Allison has spent 12 years in the Texas Public School System as an elementary educator and school counselor. She is active in helping others through Christian mission projects on the local, state, national, and international levels.

    Allison enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with her family and working in her garden. She is looking forward to meeting the diverse counseling needs of local residents through in-office sessions and the broader community through her online platform. Allison is called to equip her clients with all the tools necessary to live healthy and happy lives.

  • Maggie Gaytan, MA, LPC

    Magda Gaytan also known as Maggie, is a dedicated professional with over 20 years of experience in education across diverse settings. Maggie's journey in education has been marked by her unwavering compassion, which has enabled her to effectively support individuals and families through various challenges.

    Maggie received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LeTourneau University. She is currently completing her associate hours to achieve full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor under the supervision of Elaine Brandon, LPC-S.

    Throughout her academic and professional career, Maggie has demonstrated a remarkable ability to bridge the gap between home and school environments, facilitating communication and understanding to ensure the holistic well-being of each individual. Her approach emphasizes considering the comprehensive needs of her clients, recognizing that true support extends beyond individual therapy to encompass familial dynamics and relationships.

    Maggie is passionate about incorporating spirituality into her counseling profession, believing that it can offer hope and encouragement to individuals as they navigate life's challenges. Fluent in Spanish, she offers therapy services in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for a diverse range of clients.

    With expertise in working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples, Maggie is committed to walking alongside her clients through their journey toward healing and hope.   • Destiny Lopez, MA, LPC Associate

    Supervised by Jamie Farmer, LPC-S

    Destiny Lopez is a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered therapy. With two and a half years of experience, Destiny Lopez is passionate about helping individuals overcome emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges, empowering them to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

    Destiny Lopez earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Sam Houston State University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Houston Christian University, where she gained in-depth knowledge of counseling theories, therapeutic techniques, and mental health disorders. As an LPC-Associate, Destiny works under the supervision of a fully licensed professional counselor, Jamie Farmer, LPC-S, ensuring adherence to the highest ethical and professional standards. 

    Drawing from evidence-based practices, Destiny integrates various therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Anxiety and Depression management, Stress and Anger management, Relationship and Family Counseling, Motivational Counseling, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Substance Abuse Counseling. 

    Destiny believes in creating a warm and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Destiny has a passion for helping clients realize their own resilience while walking along their healing journey. Destiny’s approach is rooted in empathy, unconditional positive regard, collaboration, and the understanding that every individual has the capacity for growth and change.

    Destiny has experience working with clients on probation seeking to rehabilitate and reintegrate into society, as well as experience working with people who struggle with substance abuse and addiction. Throughout Destiny’s career, Destiny has worked with diverse populations, including adults, adolescents, and families. Destiny has supported clients through a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, substance abuse and life transitions. Destiny has provided individual and group therapy, facilitating evidence-based interventions designed to help clients identify the underlying causes of their substance use, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and build sustainable strategies for long-term recovery. Destiny is committed to staying up to date with the latest research and developments in the field of mental health to ensure that clients receive the most effective and relevant treatment.

    Destiny strongly believes in a holistic approach to mental health, recognizing that emotional, physical, and social well-being are interconnected. Destiny is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive care to individuals from all walks of life. With a deep respect for each client's unique background and experiences, Destiny aims to empower clients by helping them build resilience, improve coping skills, and develop healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.

    Destiny is currently accepting new clients and offers flexible scheduling, including virtual and in-person sessions. Destiny is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for individuals looking to make positive changes in their lives.

    Destiny enjoys spending time with her husband and is fulfilled being “Aunt D” to over 23 children. Destiny loves to watch the sunset, listen to praise and worship music, spend time in the pool, and finds joy in reading a variety of books from educational, motivational, self-help books, religious books, and fiction novels. Destiny feels deeply called to her career by God, believing that her work as a counselor is a divine purpose to help heal, guide, and support others through life's challenges.

  • Trey Kridler, Lamar University Graduate Student

    Trey’s onsite supervisor is Casie Ehrig, LPC, RPT.

    Trey is a graduate student intern pursuing his license in Marriage and Family Therapy through Lamar University. He will graduate in August 2025 with his Master of Education in Counseling, and he currently holds a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science.

    Trey has a desire to help people improve their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

    Trey is available to work with adolescents, men, women, couples, and families. He wants everyone to know they have a purpose in God’s will, and he has a desire to help them find it.

    Drawing from evidence-based practices, Trey integrates various therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of each client such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help reshape your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Trey will walk with you through anxiety, depression, church hurt/trauma, PTSD, relationship struggles, communication problems, or whatever you may need.

    Trey has spent 5 years as a youth pastor working with teenagers where God initially planted the seed for his desire to sit with hurting people. He has experience in addiction treatment where he incorporates his faith to those who need it.

    Trey enjoys spending time with his family on the weekends watching movies and playing whatever game his kids want play. He is looking forward to helping you in whatever way he can whether that be sitting with you in the hurt or finding ways to be a better version of yourself.

    Trey is currently accepting new clients in-person and virtually.
